Easy Marinated Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken breasts (or thighs)

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (or vinegar)

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (or minced garlic)

  • 1 teaspoon paprika (or your favorite spice)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the Chicken:

    • Place the chicken in a bowl or zip-top bag.

    • Add olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

    • Mix well to coat the chicken evenly.

    • Let it marinate for at least 15-30 minutes (or overnight in the fridge for more flavor).

  2. Cook the Chicken:

    • For Pan-Seared:

      • Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little oil.

      • Cook the chicken for 5-7 minutes per side, until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

    • For Baking:

      • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

      • Place the chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until fully cooked.

    • For Grilling:

      • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

      • Grill the chicken for about 5-7 minutes per side.

  3. Serve:

    • Slice or serve whole with your favorite sides like salad, rice, or veggies.
